After a hectic school year in which many things happened, Berto arrives at the summer of 2022 with important news that makes him float with joy: he has a boyfriend. Alongside him, and always by the side of his friends: Lorelá, Hannah, and Rika, he will continue discovering himself in days where not everything is as it seems nor does the sun always shine.
Pablo Carreiro (Vigo, 1985) is an illustrator, comic artist, and trained psychologist. Influenced by pop culture and manga, he has created youth comics that combine tenderness, humor, and queer visibility. With Chico! Lo que me gusta del verano, he continues the emotional journey of Berto, his friends, and his community, adding a story that greets teenage love with authenticity.
