On the eve of Saint John's night, the storm lashes the facade of the Atlante del Sol Institute,
in Playa Blanca, in the south of Lanzarote. Inside, the farewell party takes place before the
End-of-Year Talent Festival, which will be held the following day.
Something has gone wrong: the young Ico, star of the festival, is found dead inside the elevator,
suffocated by smoke, in a grim echo of the legend her name honors.
Teachers and students present are marked both as witnesses and suspects of what seems
a terrible crime. However, the case is closed weeks later due to lack of conclusive evidence.
Accident, the authorities rule.
Now Naima, aspiring journalist and Ico’s companion, convinced that the pieces do not fit,
decides to resume the investigation and re-interview all the attendees of the party until she finds
the answer to the question that still lingers in the air:
Who killed Ico?
