Description
Originally released in 1985, Slave to the Rhythm is Grace Jones's seventh studio album and one of the key works of her career. Conceived as a kind of sound biography produced by Trevor Horn, the record presents different variations around the same song, blending experimental pop, sound art, and a production strongly marked by the eighties.
This vinyl edition picture disc within the Back to Black series recovers the album with eight tracks, respecting the original structure and highlighting the voice, theatricality, and visual imagery of Grace Jones.
