Tina Turner by Peter Lindbergh
Simply the Best. Tina Turner by Peter Lindbergh
TASCHEN Publishing | Photography, music, and portrait of a legend
This book presents a carefully curated collection of portraits of Tina Turner taken by the photographer Peter Lindbergh over several decades. Through intimate, spontaneous, and deeply expressive images, Lindbergh documents both Turner’s stage presence and her more personal and reflective side. From international stages to everyday settings, the photographs reveal the artist in all her authenticity.
The volume includes a foreword by Erwin Bach — Turner’s husband and music producer — which adds an intimate dimension to the project. Each photograph bears witness to the creative bond between the two artists and the respect they shared.
Published by TASCHEN, this edition gathers scenes captured in Paris, beaches, studios, and concerts, tracing a visual narrative of a key figure in 20th-century musical culture.
